University Sponsored Event
A main focus event hosted by the University that is open to the entire University community and welcomes parents, students and/or alumni to campus. These events must receive approval from the office of Institutional Advancement for inclusion.
An event or activity hosted by a University department, school, college, division, and institute or center that is held in conjunction or in association with the education, health care or community service missions of the University. These events may not interfere with, or divert space or other resources from the scheduled programs and activities of the University.
An event or activity hosted by an authorized student group. These events may not interfere with, or divert space or other resources from the scheduled programs and activities of the University.
An event, activity or fundraiser that is formally co-sponsored by a University department, school, college, division, etc., with an external organization or company. These events must not interfere with, or divert space or other resources from the scheduled programs and activities of the University. Co-sponsored events must be University mission related.
The sponsoring department is required to coordinate the planning of the event with Events and a departmental representative must be present at the event. The sponsoring department is responsible for any damages incurred. The departmental representative will be involved in the billing and collection of all fees, i.e., parking, room rental, damages, etc. These events must receive approval from Events.
First consideration is given to Harris Stowe State University events. Early space requests are encouraged for all locations.
