Accepted Students

Congratulations and welcome to the Hornet Nation! There are a few things to do before you arrive and we’re here to help you keep it all straight. The checklist below will help you navigate the next steps in the process:

Prospective Students

  • Complete and Submit the Online Admissions Application
  • Submit $20.00 Application Fee
  • Submit Official High School and/or College Transcripts*
  • Submit ACT or SAT scores
  • Apply for Financial Aid at fafsa.ed.gov (HSSU CODE 002466)
  • Attend Senior Day
  • Check the status of your application on MyHSSU (Your username is your 6-digit HSSU Student ID and your password is "hs"+ the last 4 digits of your SSN - Ex. 123456 and hs1234)

 

Accepted Students

  • Follow us on Social Media!
  • Schedule a Campus Tour
  • Submit final official high school and/or college transcripts
  • Submit $100 Enrollment Deposit, $75 Orientation Fee and $175 Housing Application Fee (if living on campus)
    •  Log into MyHSSU
    • Click on the "Admissions" tab
    • Click the "Financial Information" link
    • Open Cashnet
    • Select Make a Payment
  • Apply for Financial Aid at fafsa.ed.gov (HSSU Code 002466)
  • Review financial aid awards letter and accept awards
  • Schedule placement test, if applicable
  • Submit on-campus housing application, if living on campus
  • Submit health forms to HealthServices@hssu.edu, if living on campus
  • Register your vehicle

 

My Enrollment Fee is Paid--Now What?

  • Register for New Student Orientation
  • Submit AP/IB exam scores or Dual Enrollment Transcript
  • Pay your bill
  • Move-in (Residential)/Check-in (Non-Residential) at Bosley Residence Hall on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.
