Dorm Network Device Registration
It is the goal of HSSU IT Services to provide residential students with reliable wi-fi access on campus. In order to do that, we ask that students register their personal network devices with the university. You do not need to register phones, computers, gaming systems, or tablets unless they are used to create additional network services in the HSSU environment. Unregistered and unrecognized network devices will automatically be denied access to HSSU network resources, including internet services. Registered devices that interfere with access of other students will be removed as well. IT Services will be happy to assist with making your access point compliant with our Acceptable Use, Security Policies, and Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy during regular business hours. Please make an appointment with the HSSU Help Desk (helpdesk@hssu.edu) if you need assistance.
